About me
My research is on using Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF) for bio-medical applications using Raman spectroscopy. The research work is an extension of my Master's thesis which used PCF for various applications (laser flash photolysis, raman spectroscopy, characterizing nanoparticles). I did my Bachelor of Engineering from Deccan College of Engineering and Technology, (Osmania University, Hyderabad India) in 2005. I have also worked as a fiber optic engineer at Oz Optics Ltd. - a leading worldwide supplier of fiber optic products .
Apart from my research, I actively promote entrepreneurship among engineering students through uOttawa Prizes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PEI). I am also in the executive team of EEGSA and SPIE uOttawa chapter
